Chapter 14

This chapter was really easy as well. I haven't done graphs for a while, but I think I learned them in 6th grade, so it shouldn't be too hard to get back into. I think the only part that I might have trouble with is the equations for finding the Least Squares line. I can see myself not studying very much for this portion because it all seems familiar, when in reality these equations are new and I would probably screw them up if I don't practice them a little.

Chapter 13, worksheets 24 and 25

Chapter 13
This chapter was much easier than the previous chapters. I'm confused about when correlations are considered strong or not. The worksheets asked about that, but I didn't see it in the book. I might have missed it though.

Chapter 10 and 11

Chapter 10.
This chapter was pretty difficult as far as equations go. The part that tripped me up the most is the sum of squares within and between. On the handout it had one way of calculating the sum of squares on the front, and then on the back it had a different way of calculating it, or at least what looks like a different way to me. This confused me.

Chapter 11.
This chapter actually seemed easier than the last because we do not have to plug in as many numbers to calculate the Sums of Squares and the like. I found the interactions to be very interesting. I think that after completing this chapter, chapter 10 work will be much easier because it builds on it.

I wil be in class on Friday if we are still having it. I would be lying to myself if I thought that I would wake up at 8 am to study by myself.

The most difficult chapter yet... number 9

Well the most difficult part about this chapter is getting the formulas correct. I spent at least 2 1/2 hours on the homework because after i finished all of the work, I would go back and my answer was incorrect. It took me forever to find out what I did wrong. The formulas are lenghty, but I understand their applications. I don't think there is anything too difficult to understand, it is just simply knowing which formula and putting the numbers in correctly.
